Unique Tans and Royal Castiel (Wings, Trench Coat and Necktie Details) Angel Blade Holster Only

This unusual long and narrow veg-tan leather holster is tapered rather severely to nearly a point, specifically designed to contain many average size replicas of the Angel Blade, weapon of the “Warriors of God.” It starts with a 1” folded over mounted 1” nickel plated d-ring. All three pieces of the natural edged holder are dyed light tan and painted with royal blue stripes and geometric fields that alternate inside a darker brown edge (carved then saddle stitched with black waxed thread). The large top flexible flap that measures 5” long and 2-1/2” wide (decorated with antique brass wings and trench coat metallic charms) holds the handle of the blade, sits about a third down from the top, and buttons to the left with a nickel Sam Brown stud. About 3/4” from the bottom another wider diagonally placed and fully mounted loop piece that leaves a gap of about 1/2” deep (decorated with nickel plate wings and necktie charms) contains the point of the blade. The coloring of the holster and the decorations honor the trench coat wearing angel Castiel from TV’s Supernatural. It measures about 14-1/4” X 3-1/4” wide X 2-1/4” deep without the back loop or the display only blade and will fit a belt up to 3-1/4” wide. Every steampunk sonic screwdriver holster , wand holster, and other tubular holster is unique because each piece is designed using scraps from my bigger projects. I am inspired by the natural edges of leather in all my builds, but these little holders for basically tubular items are just plain fun. All the weird angles, fluted bits of natural edging and leftover strapping contribute to the fun and when decorative thematic elements are added thru stamping, carving, embossing, colors chosen then dyed and painted, metallic charms, conchos, bezels, buttons further define the individual pieces. Elastic loops are installed to hold smaller items (ie wands) in place and the top and bottom “closures” are added for security and for design continuity.
