Arm Bracer Pair Angel Wings and Blade (Warrior of Heaven) Blue and Browns

Custom leather arm bracers are always a welcome addition to costumes that celebrate the warrior characters we choose to emmulate, and while many of these actually do have specific details to copy and cosplay, others, like the ones I sample here are expressions meant to show what is possible. One of the most unusual of the bracers I have made over the years is this blue and brown set that features a carving of Angel Wings with Blade—embossed onto a dyed tan oval badge (2-3/4 L X 5” W), which was given a black 1/8” line edge, highlighted with gilt and silver then finished with an overall shine before being glued and stitched at 1” intervals with black waxed cord onto the bracers pair which will fit medium sized adult arms. These bracers (a basic shield shape) are colored two different dark red browns and royal blue with stamped pebble texturing toward the top using french curved lines to separate the differing colors and textures and finished with 1/4” black lined edging all around. They have a glued in cloth lining affixed before they were wet formed round pvc pipe and tie onto the arm with criss cross black corset lacing thru 8 grommet finished holes and measure 7” L at the apex which taper to 4-1/2” L sides X about 8-1/2” at the widest point.
