One of a Kind Carved Angel Blade Detail on Tans and Blue Purse/Pouch with Matching Belt/Strap

$110.00

One of a kind handtooled (carved and beveled) darkened deep brown n black with gilt silver and gold highlights angel blade design on attached saddle tan patch (6-3/8” X 3-3/8”) was glued then sewn and decorated with small nickel rivets onto the natural edged flap.

This flap (determined by the leather itself) is an sewn on extension of the full body of the pouch (7” W x about 18-1/4”L) which is formed by stitching the stiff rounded bottom gussets (which measure 1-5.8” W X 5-1/4” L) with a favorite overcast and wrapped primitive technique to produce a single cavity pocket that measures (7” W X about 6-1/3” L and will flex longer X 1-1/2” D) , big enough to carry most cell phones, wallets, keys, and small items for a day of adventuring.

The pouch which is made of stiffer 5-6 oz veg-tan leather has back loop for belts up to 3” wide and can double as a purse by adding the 3/4” strap/belt (included in this set), by using the snaps on the ends around the d-rings which were added to the top of the side gussets. The body of the pouch and top of the flap are varying sizes of stripes : mostly smooth, but the wider tan stripe is stamped with a pebble texture, while the rest are dyed oxblood tan, java brown or painted royal blue. The bottom edge of the flap is line carved with curve stripes, textured with the sunburst scallop border tool, dyed tan, oxblood, and java brown—these curved fields peek out below the carved angels blade patch. A black basically 1/4” carved line encircles the entire pouch.

The tan nylon corset string wraps around a dark blue randomly triquetra stamped scalloped leather decorated with silver colored rivet and silver stitched on nickle angel wings to close the bag which completes the project and makes the bag flexible for things that would be slightly too long for a fixed closure. All hardware on the coordinating belt/strap and bag (which can be purchased separately) is likewise nickle plated.

The Angel Blade artwork was created by legacy Denver based Kevin Greene who was inspired by his love of the TV show Supernatural and interpreted by this leathercrafter. Every carve is different and this is the latest version

The 3/4” heavy leather strap has been line carved at 1/4” on either side and dyed tan while the center was painted royal blue to match the bag . Either end is outfitted with a matching lighter weight 3/4” leather tab that has been rivet and stitched in place, then set up with line 24 heavy duty snaps. Measuring about 40” up 51” the strap as is fits many frames hip to hip, but can be easily adjusted by putting in more holes larger and smaller. Additionally, this small strap can be hooked around either side of the enclosed nickle tone ring to form a narrow belt that can also support the bag as in a fanny pack.

As mentioned above you may purchase either of the pieces by themselves, but the price together reflects the discount offered for the purchase of both. The pouch alone is 99.00 and the belt/strap is 29.00 plus the flat rate shipping rate of 10.00, but you must ask the seller to send you an invoice in order to purchase either of these items alone.
