Pewter Bird Skull Perches on Tan Scalloped Concho Centered Light Blue with Navy Narrow Cuff

Pewter Bird Skull sewn onto stamped Tan Scalloped Concho is the focal point of this Lighter Blue Leather ( 2 layers of Denver Side) cut to 3/4” and a scant 1/8” painted navy blue stripe wrist cuff. Cream color waxed cord was used to secure the concho to the cuff and I used that same whip stitch to reinforce the layers together over the navy stripe. The band is secured round the wrist by two antique nickel line 24 (bold and bigger) snaps—you really only need one, so it is adjustable. Two rather unusual antique silver buttons sewn on with antique nickel rivets complete the compact bracelet cuff. The back side has a 5/8” ribbon glued on back to cover the stitching and the metal backs to keep the decorative elements from catching the hairs and skin of the wrist. It will fit a wrist up to 6-1/2” or 8-1/2” as described above. I like to snap it on the larger setting and slide it over my hand to wear as a bangle with other bracelets.
