Unique Tan Celtic Knots With Triquetras Holster and Green Stripe Blonde Wood Screwdriver Set

$75.00

A pair of scalloped leather conchos, stamped with Celtic knot work , dyed light tan, then darker British Tan and accented with green paint then embellished with large silver tone triquetra charms are the predominant decorative elements of this asymmetrically long and narrow natural edge leather base holster. The body of the leather holder is line carved two times from all edges: the outer edge is dyed the darker British tan, a line of saddle stitching of tan waxed braided cord lines between the next stripe of painted green which surround the inner field of tan rather randomly stamped with baroque design used as a texture.

The upper natural flap duplicate the carving, stitching and coloring patterns established on the body of the holster, though the center is the Celtic knot stamp surrounded on the 4 corners with 2 black stone rivets, one green stone rivet and a very small silver tone triquetra charm. The bottom natural edged flap sports the first and most visible of the Celtic Triquetra conchos discussed earlier, (the second stitched at the apex presides over the entire holster).

Both flaps lie rather diagonally at about thirds and are buttoned to the left with nickel (silver tone) Sam Brown Studs to hold the blonde tone wooden steampunk sonic screwdriver which was painted in green stripes, given a fluted silver looking metallic bead at the bottom and sports a large antique silver tone shank button with a small “crest” in the center that covers the entire top of the spindle.

This holster will fit a belt up to 3” wide but please note that the 2 black stamped belt shown in one of the photos is sold separately. The wooden sonic screwdriver and holster measure about 13” L X 2-1/2” W X 1-3/4” D (not counting the back loop).

TO REPEAT, BELT IS SOLD SEPARATELY IN ANOTHER LISTING.

Every steampunk sonic screwdriver holster (and the related steampunk wand holster group) is unique because each piece is designed using scraps from my bigger projects. I am inspired by the natural edges of leather in all my builds, but these little holders for basically tubular items are just plain fun. All the weird angles, fluted bits of natural edging and leftover strapping contribute to the fun and when decorative thematic elements are added thru stamping, carving, embossing, colors chosen then dyed and painted, metallic charms, conchos, bezels, buttons further define the individual pieces. Elastic loops are installed to hold smaller items (ie wands) in place and the top and bottom “closures” are added for security and for design continuity. You ask can I buy just the holster? Yes. Though my price for the set is the best value for the money you can leave the wooden steampunk screwdrivers behind by heading to my contact me area, I can send you an invoice for the single piece.

Steampunk Sonic Screwdrivers were born at the height of the Steampunk aesthetic and inspired by the tool of my favorite Doctor. They were originally made from my basket of leftover auto, appliance parts and assorted tubes and bits of pvc pipe and other found things. As time went on, I discovered that I wanted a smaller and easier to replace version of steampunk sonic screwdrivers hence the wooden ones (and why not wood?), and when I came across spinners’ wooden spindles used to turn wool into yard/thread, I had found the perfect medium sized pieces to fit into my specialty holsters, It was just natural to add gears, conchos, button and all assorted toppers and to paint colorful stripes to match the holster. You ask—can I buy just the wooden steampunk sonic screwdriver.? Yes. Though my price for the set is the best value you can leave the holster behind by going to my contact me area.
